Terms of Service
1. What Vantloop is
Vantloop is a remote-first talent network for front-end and commerce developers, operated by Victor Antai Studio (“Vantloop”, “we”, “us”). Vantloop is a service of Victor Antai Studio; it is not a separate registered company. The network is in its founding stage: the first bench of vetted developers (“talent”) is being formed now, and client briefs are matched against that bench as it grows. Entries on the roles board marked “Sample listing” are illustrative examples, clearly labelled, shown until live client briefs replace them.
By creating an account or using this site, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account.
2. Accounts
An account is either a client account (for hiring talent) or a talent account (for being matched to paid work); you choose the role when you sign up, and it is recorded on your account. You must give accurate information and keep it current. One account per person. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in methods secure — we offer sign-in by password, by one-time email code, and, when enabled, by Google.
3. For talent: applications
Applying is free and always will be. Applying takes a talent account: applications are submitted from, and stay attached to, that account. An application puts you on file for matching; it is not an offer of work and does not guarantee you will be matched, briefed or paid. Vetting may include a small, time-boxed test task (capped at eight hours, as published in our work rules). Profiles, links and claims you submit must be your own and truthful — misrepresentation ends the application.
An application includes your payout details (bank transfer today: bank name, account name, account number) so that paid work can reach you without a paperwork delay. Section 6 of the Privacy Policy covers how those details are handled — in short: stored to pay you, never emailed, never shown to clients, and displayed back to you only as the bank name and the last four digits.
4. For clients: briefs and shortlists
Sending a brief takes a client account, and briefs stay attached to it. Sending one is free and creates no obligation on either side. Our published standard is a shortlist of vetted developers within 48 hours of a complete brief; it is a service standard we work to, not a contractual guarantee of timing or of a match. If we cannot staff a brief honestly, we will say so.
5. Rates and the calculator
The rate bands and the rate calculator on this site are published for transparency and are informational only. They are not a quote. The binding rate, scope and schedule for any engagement are the ones set out in that engagement's written agreement.
6. Engagements and pay
An engagement starts only when the client's agreed deposit has been received. No developer begins billable work before that point. Talent on a confirmed engagement is paid on a 14-day pay cycle for approved work, under the terms of that engagement's agreement. Either side may end an engagement as its agreement provides; approved work already delivered is paid for.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use Vantloop to send spam, to misrepresent who you are or what you can do, to harvest other users' contact details, to scrape the site abusively, or for anything unlawful. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, and we will explain why when we do.
8. Content and intellectual property
The site, its design and its text belong to Victor Antai Studio. What you submit — applications, briefs, portfolio links — remains yours. By submitting it, you give us permission to review it and to share the relevant parts with a client or developer for the purpose of making a match you asked for.
9. Availability and liability
We work to keep the service fast and available, and the site is provided “as is” without warranties beyond those the law implies. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim; nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Changes to these Terms
If these Terms change materially, we will publish a new version here with a new version date, and the version you accepted is recorded on your account. Continuing to use an account after a new version takes effect counts as accepting it for future activity.
